Medical Gas system is network of degreased copper pipes and fittings to deliver life safety gases like oxygen, nitrous oxide, surgical air etc. from source point to required delivery points with the help of terminal units and monitoring and controlling devices.  The systems are designed to facilitate and monitor the delivery of medical gases in different required parts of the hospitals. Our specialized technical department can handle projects design according to client’s requirement or any other local or international standards and assist the hospitals planners Consultant / Clients during design stage.

Clean Rooms

A  clean room is a facility ordinarily utilized as a part of specialized industrial production or scientific research, including the manufacture of pharmaceutical items and microprocessors.

Cleanrooms are designed to maintain extremely low levels of particulates, such as dust, airborne organisms, or vaporized particles.

Cleanrooms typically have a cleanliness level quantified by the number of particles per cubic meter at a predetermined molecule measure.

The ambient outdoor air in a typical urban area contains 35,000,000 particles for each cubic meter in the size range 0.5 μm and bigger in measurement, equivalent to an ISO 9 cleanroom, while by comparison an ISO 1 cleanroom permits no particles in that size range and just 12 particles for each cubic meter of 0.3 μm and smaller.

The incoming air is processed by means of HEPA and ULPA filters to protect particularly sensitive products in research and industry against harmful environmental influences.

Quick to deploy mobile OT

Smard has been trialling an innovative mobile surgical space that could revolutionise the way our medical teams conduct surgery in conflict zones and in the aftermath of emergencies.

Operating theatre can be customized as portable surgical unit equipped with an air filter that provides sterile conditions for surgery. Quick to deploy and designed for repeated use.

Isolated Power Supply (IPS)

Isolated power supply provides two types of safety:

1. Continuity of supply i.e. the isolated supply removes the possibility of earth faults therefore there is no need to blow fuse or trip a breaker to protect against earth leakage currents that could cause electrical shocks.

2. Isolated from earth allows only negligible electrical current to flow through body even an RCD will allow up to a 30mA-not sensitive enough for medical environment.
